Reading Review!

Ok so the past few months have been slow reading months for me, so I am putting February and March books together this time.

I know a lot of you are seeing this cover and saying..."What she just read that!" and to you I have to say yes, I did. I know this wonderful story has been out for a while, but I just hadn't gotten around to reading it until now. For those of you who have read it yay for you, for those of you who haven't...what are you waiting for! This is a wonderful, amazing story about strong southern women standing up and telling their story about what it's like to be "the help" in the south. There are wonderful characters that will make you laugh and moments that will make you want to cry. I highly recommend this book to everyone!

I broke my rule on this one and watched the movie before reading the book, and not going to lie I liked the movie just a little bit better. Something Borrowed is a great story about love and friendship and what happens when the two cross in an unexpected way. If you are looking for a fun and quick read for the spring/summer, I hope you put this one on your reading list.

This book was recommended to me by my friend Amy. I seriously did not know if I was going to get through it when I first started it. Sarah's Key is definitely a slow start book, but if you stick to it you will be pleasantly surprised. This book is about a journalist living in Paris and writing an article for her magazine about the round up that took place in Paris during the Holocaust. During her research she discovers a connection between her and a young girl who was taken prisoner during that round up. She then goes on a quest to find out what happened to this young girl....and the rest you will have to find out when you read it. A really great book and highly recommended! Thanks Amy!

Happy reading everyone!
